"Since
Valentine's Day is for a Christian saint and we're Jewish," she
asks, "will God get mad at me for giving someone a valentine?
Melissa's father thinks a bit, then says "No, I don't think God
would get mad. Who do you want to give a valentine to?"

"Osama Bin Laden," she says

"Why Osama Bin Laden," her father asks in shock
"Well," she says, "I thought that if a little American Jewish
girl could have enough love to give Osama a valentine, he might
start to think that maybe we're not all bad, and maybe start loving people
a little bit.

And if other kids saw what I did and sent valentines to Osama,
he'd love everyone a lot. And then! he'd start going all over the
place to tell everyone how much he loved them and how he didn't hate
anyone anymore."

Her father's heart swells and he looks at his daughter with
newfound pride.

"Melissa, that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard."
"I know," Melissa says, "and once that gets him out in the open,
the Marines could blow the crap out of him."

ok..so... who's taking me out for McDonalds and a six pack and then meaningless sex in the back seat tonight ?
I'll even bring the breath mints and condoms.

Regards
Savage
.

Into the light

The One Great Mystery

What happens after we die
The question has been wondered about and theorized about possibly since the beginning of cognitive time.

Reincarnation, move on to another level or plane, go to a heaven or hell, reborn/transported to the mother planet, end up a ghost or spirit... nothing at all.
or?

I figured it out tonight. You can thank me by the way, you can quit wondering now. Being a man of scientific thought it comes to me that the one tangible report we do have is from people who have been dead for a short time then brought back to life on a hospital table. Quite a few seem to recall seeing a light, walking into a light, being drawn into the light, floating into a light, being guided into the light.

Well, as I sit here observing my own surroundings and activity in it... it came to me.

We die then become a moth, we just don't realize that while trying to 'go into the light'... were actually bouncing off a litebulb in someones house or at there back porch burning the fuck out of ourselves and never having a clue......yea... into the light.

I'm am now so relieved that very few people use candles as lighting now.
I wonder how many little winged souls I've snuffed out when out camping ...yanno.. that fire.

Now also can you imagine
"Hey Ray... Decided, what the hell.. lets go check out something new. Well, I normally do IRC via Trillian but my Trillian install on the lappy is having issues right now ( it didn't don on me till later that I didn't have the info to get on channel anyhow..LOL .. I had peeked in from work one afternoon and noticed it was an irc setup ) so I pop over using regular web browser. Java applet decides to not load up correctly for me, this isn't the chats problem BTW it's just this/my system and how I have it set up. It does connect but with a few gremlins and the applet flashes out on me after entering. I'm blind basically.

Ok, fine I think... I haven't used the mIRC client in like... ages, but am familiar with it so I go snag the latest download, install, log into the b.com server and the rather than going directly to the intended destination chat channel I decide to take a look at the channels list. I haven't been on that server in ages either so I was curious to see what the channel lineup was like, this was just suppose to be a quick look then on my way kind of thing. Well, I ended up popping into #dominateradio to see what thats about. I remember that website and station starting up years ago so recognised the tittle . Well, things leed to another and I'm now listening to the radio station via internet ( I'm a sucker for music ) as well as chatting a bit. The DJ at the time, "dj moon" is in there of course and knows the regs as well as being a greeter for the new.

A short bit after , I get to hear my handle mentioned live over the air by one of the sexiest voices I have heard in a long time. Ok, so now I'm parked , entertained and never made it back to my mission of hitting the bloggchat. But still ended up doing something new.
Tadaaa.... chat mission distraction, but the something 'new' was still accomplished.

Regards
Savage
.

The Quiet Things

passive

no, I'm just not interested most of the time unless it has some baring on my life directly. ( yourblog.blogspot.com ...subdomain . ..rather than blogspot.com/thisafter .. base domain first)

Thus status.blogger.com couldn't even be checked. Subdomain again rather than a strait blogger.com/status URL ... hummm.. me thinks this was an oversight. I've had this problem on with my domain hosts as well in the past thus avoid using subdomains in some critical instances.

It looks like whatever it was is fixed now though

Updated Firefox today just to find out that the spellchecker I use with it now doesn't work with the new version...bastiges. And blogspot doesn't work well with opera.. my other browser of choice when posting. So I am stuck using the blogger speelz checks. Which so does not understand my verbal jazz... It's not even funny.

So... how many of you were cussing your monitors out today *grinz*

Aye... and.. the ride didn't happen today... freaking weather blew in way early... rain..sleet and 50mph+ winds... In my instance the nearest town big enough for such a thing is just under 200 miles away ... nothing like living in friggin' BFE ))
She has put on a weekend workshop and show in a city north of me for two springs now so I was looking for any dates this year. Would make for a good bike trip pluss get some kinkster air in my lungs in the live. A small-ish event would be just right to kick off the summer. Although I'm thinking about making it to Thunder In the Mountains, Denver ...this year..... if not it "may" be Folsom Street Fair, SF, later in the year. I have someone who owes me a drink , seeing as she missed me ( or avoided me *taps toe* ) the last time I was there... people...yanno ?
It's all balanced on finances... especially with hotel and gas prices right now.....but, good chance.

I am way overdue in any case...like.. way way overdue, it's been to long other than the occasional one on one traveler over dinner thing that I get blessed with as far as contact with other kinksters...... Starts to create a little knot in the gut after a while. I used to put more effort into "being involved" , as much as was at that time possible in my situation anyhow.. I do miss it... I kinda dropped out of the active community completely for a while after Angelique and I parted ways.. needed a little healing... I'm sure most understand that one. .. I'll cry about that in another post though. I know that is a new name to most who would be reading this.

The group that hosts events north of me isn't real big on the Internet thing and I lost my contact up there. Neither are the two groups to the east of me, although I still know one or two people involved there, they as a group (s) are rather elusive... you have to "know" someone.... which I do understand completely. My location just kinda puts a damper on things for me at times. I'll have to send a few e-mails tonight and see if someone has any idea.

( yes..I know.. north..east..yadda.. just use your imagination.. if I indicated my exact location in the open in my blog I would have to delete it then hunt you all down and kill you ..ha !! ... )

Anyhow, looking for date and place info on Midori I came across an article of hers that I thought was interesting. It also kind of relates to were my mind has been going lately.

I think it is an interesting "modern" mindset view of how it is community wise in this arena...especial now. And some good general and realistic thoughts. Without allot of buzzwords involved, just plain clean English for the most part.

Don't let the initial wording at the beginning put you off. It makes sense farther in.
I've no opinion, but can see it from my distance, this way. As compared to how it was shown to me back once upon a time.

Thought it might be interesting to a few here in any case and thought I might share/post the url before I move on and loose the web page.

the article can be found here

I'm sure most are familiar with places and people mentioned above, but for those who aren't and just so the above makes sense.. I know I used to get confused at one time " What the hell is he talking about? "

Thunder In The Mountains and Folsom Street Fair are two of the larger BDSM events in the US
Should be links in post above.

Midori is a fairly well known BDSM educator, book author and fetish diva.
Sites related to her BeautyBound and Fire Horse productions
She used to have a kick ass personal website with photos and articles but.. you can blame that being gone on the current government.

She is heavily into rope bondage...especially Shibari. Would love to attend something she is putting on...but... Her event and workshop tickets tend to sell out quickly.. ..grrr.

<<< ...rope-alolic.. or.."knoty" rather..* groans *..ok, that was my lame attempt at a funny today

Regards
Savage
.

Tagged by curious and mi3 ... In doing so has put a dead stop to the last step of out the door production of product. You've gotten as far with prepares and redneck engineering as you can to "just" get back into operation...the band aid.

And still waiting on key parts to to hit the UPS entrance so you can go threw and redo everything over again the right way. It comes from having equiptment that has parts that none of the handful of electrical supply joints locally have even heard of let alone have on a shelf. Even the electricians scratch there head.

While one ton deadlines swing on a mere string over your head.

And your the man... everyone else's income under one working roof requires.. that you be "it" or doors will shut.
The one who knows it all, the one who will fix it... faith.. unconditional faith.

A little time to sit and think and drain. ... while waiting ... waiting... when people who's income rely that you be a god.. the look in there eyes, they see a god... the one who will save it all. You put off your real estate agent and a possible looker, you cancel appointments, reschedule personal clients, let your "other" work sit on your desk and fall behind, forget about the plumbing that needs fixed at home, let the dishes sit, wonder if the money was really there you had to spend, ask that creditors try back, shove everything else aside and turn blind to it..... and you make it..this one thing... true. The clock goes from 9pm to 1am before you know it then you get up the next morning and hit it running again....and go...and go....and go.

I've somehow always ended up in the position of being "the one" at almost every work place I have ever been in... as well as co-enhabitational settings. ... when shit hit's the fan and no one else knows how to fix it. ... yet I'm perpetually starving.

I am intelligent, I may have a few social handicaps...but I am extremely intelligent. I have a few natural gifts that sometimes I almost wish I didn't have.

In the right moment, in the right place... I end up godly
but given two hours of peace, when it all starts to ache....the body rejects pleasure, the mind wilts from the inlfamation of sensory and cogitation pounding and I somehow know that... that comes with unusual pains .
Everything at a price, even when it's hidden.

Regards
Savage
.

Finally added a Wacom graphics tablet to the laptop ( digital art tablet ).
Which is all I use at home anymore for a computer, the lapy. I like the option of sitting outside or taking a trip to the river for my personal computer play time. Nothing like chatting, playing, working, reading while listening to the river and watching the sun set... and miles from a phone jack or a talking human.
Well, that and everything else including several desk systems ( anyone need a used but working tower? they are just going to collect dust ) is boxed up, given away, sold or burned or about to be burned anyhow.

I have had a Wacom at the office for as long as I've been setting at that desk but always find something else to add to the home toys instead when the money is there. It's only a 6X8 ( active pad area ) but at 10" x 11" and 1/2 inch thick actual dimensions it's just about right for sliding into the laptop bag without taking up noticeable real estate.

It will be nice to NOT have to stay at that desk in the office at night if I have personal graphics projects or photos to edit that are not work related and don't require the larger tablets. Although I will have to get used to working with a smaller working area I'm finding.

If I wasn't planning on packing up and putting my show on the road once everything sells I'd really like to add a Cintiq to the tools at work. But, hey... maybe in another phase down the road.

Almost have the road office complete now in any case.

Lapy, cameras, tablet, portable solar charging system, Verizon Wireless Internet
NationalAccess prolly change to there cellular broadband eventually but I will say it works better than I had thought , HP Deskjet 450wbt Wireless Mobile Printer .... pluss all the goodies inbetween ... can we say .. fucking unplugged and on the road...ha!!... We will roll.

This town can kiss my fucking ass... once all is said and done... I'm fucking gone.
Anyone want to go photo journalize Mexico with me, I really could use an editor with my typing and spelling handicap. One with a set of tits, kinky and with a sharp attitude would be a bonus. Yes, I am shameless.
Knowing a bit of Spanish might save both of us......Life is meant to be an adventure... lived.
I'm fairly tired of listening to the stump fuckers talk, then sit down myself.....around here.

HP discontinued the Scanjet 4600 which wasn't the best scanner in the world anyhow. Cheap even. But I would have still had enough room in the computer dedicated bag to fit it... which is what counts in this case... and from what I saw after playing with one it would have been "ok" as I only need a scanner for base images to re-render anyhow. I'm friggin'' spoiled actually, I'm used to saying " if it cost under $1K and and can't scan in full tabloid and doesn't render me a perfect image of the original that even god himself couldn't paint then it's a piece of shit ".
Once you figure out that isn't going to happen in a portable suitable for bike travel you humble your view..... or do without.

If anyone knows of first hand a decent USB powered or battery operated even flat scanner please let me know. It is the only thing missing now.
Cheap is good, at work I am a god ... but outside of that, I am still a starving artist and they keep taxing the hell outa my beer and tobacco.

Regards
Savage
.

curently listning to...or was
Rolling Stones › Honky Tonk Woman
Don Mclean › American Pie

and have Tom Petty > Free Falling .. coming on
.

My photography buddy

She's a 2002 Honda 919 Hornet. ( An Italian designed and manufactured body ..but a Honda still...who woulda ever thunk it )
She looks a little funny with the tail pack and tank bag dressing her out and messing with her curves but she is one sexy chick on the road.

I named her Midnight Cyanide after she body slammed me coming out of a corner one late evening and left me sliding along the tarmac like a cube of butter down a hot pan.
I wasn't playing nice and she let me know that she didn't like it. Took her for granted and she showed me just how much of a royal bitch she could be.

I learned to behave and respect the power after that. I made many apologies and making up. I learned finesse and control. I took many hours and time really talking to her and letting her... teach me. Balance between rider bike and pushing the edge of limits. I learned how to "handle" gently and then tame the vicious thing.

We get along as one now, be it putting along lazily on some back road looking at the sites, slicing the wind spirited on some long lonely highway, dancing threw canyon corners in perfect step and swing or making her sing like ripping silk as we shoot the pass together at insane tempo.

And... she loves to go out and take pictures with me. I swear if I let her lead the way she finds the perfect spots to shoot. Now if I could just get her to smile and wink at me and call me baby..daddy...sugar, maybe I could give up on fems all together *grinz*

I think my creativity has bogged town a bit more than I had realized since the onset of winter. I'm missing that road...all of that "out there". The air, the freedom the hunt for that one good photo...... and our dances, the most.
It's an exercise of more than just mind and body...far more.

Spring needs to come soon.
